Monday, March 30, 2020- April 3, 2020, Football and Volleyball: Week 2

Hello Everyone, 

Tomorrow, March 30, 2020, we will be starting week 2 our Distant Learning. I will be posting weekly updates and workouts here: https://4thperiodpe.blogspot.com/ 

This week football and volleyball will be completing a weekly workout log posted on our Google Classroom- class code: yngdle4. For each day of the week, please complete three of the muscle groups listed on this workout card:


After completing your workouts, list the workouts you completed each day with type/ weight/ reps. Workout Log needs to be completed by April 3, 2020 at 3:30pm for Week 2. 

Week 2- Pushup challenge: Athletes interested may submit a video of themselves completing as many push-ups as they can in one set. For the pushups to count, the chest has to at least touch the top of a soda can and on the way up, arms need to get fully extended without locking your elbows. Winner will receive two free days on next weeks workout log. Please submit videos through our Google Classroom or email me directly.

Also, continue to consider keeping a daily nutrition log, which you can add on your Workout Log spreadsheet. 

It is going to be imperative that you complete your work on time and ask for help via email when needed. Remember that we are all still working towards getting course credit and graduating on time. My office hours will be everyday from 10:00am-1:00pm. You are encouraged to email me questions and check into the blog during that time. 

One more note, if you do not have reliable internet access, then please inform me or the school, so that we may assist you.
